Scene It? The DVD Movie Game (Vintage Game never used). With 50 years of TV packed into one game, Scene It? Deluxe TV Edition is the quintessential television trivia game. From Leave it to Beaver and The Brady Bunch to Alias and Malcolm in the Middle, Scene It? TV Edition will keep players tuning in for hours of TV entertainment. Put all those hours of vegging in front of the tube to good use with this interactive game that challenges your knowledge of TV trivia. Players pick a token with couch potato-inspired design and move it around a reel-shaped board, answering questions all the way, in a quest to reach the boards bulls-eye center and be named the ultimate channel surfer. An 8-sided die determines whether players will answer a trivia question from the pack of cards or from a clip on the DVDor pick up a Buzz card, which impacts your performance either positively (for example, sending you ahead a few spaces for successfully pitching a new series) or negatively (holding you back for bombing your American Idol tryout). Answering questions correctly lets players move on while incorrect responses force players to end their turn. For variety, the trivia cards offer 1,200 questions divided into three types of challenges where players identify an actor or show based on three provided clues; recall soundtracks, slogans, or catch phrases; or answer pop culture questions. The DVD features over 206 different television show clips and images, which are randomized so no two games are the same. This edition is for two to four players or teams and comes with an expanding board that can open out for longer games or fold in for quicker play. Scene It? was awarded the Game of the Year at the 2005 Toy of the Year Awards.
