Item Description
A musical treat for two — The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) and Wynton Marsalis close their season with a new collaboration bridging visual art and jazz composition.
In partnership with Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, JLCO members have spent the past year exploring centuries' worth of American art, ranging from masterworks to lesser-known gems in the Museum's collection.
Each musician was asked to select a single work of art as inspiration for a new original composition. A truly unique concert!
The concert is at 8pm on Friday, June 7, 2019 in the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center complex at Columbus Circle.
Item Special Note
Seats will be best available. Winner MUST contact Jazz at Lincoln Center by 5:00pm on Friday, May 24th, 2019. Details on winner's gift certificate.
