This is a two-hour treatment session provided by Clinical Psychologist Dena Ray, PhD. Her approach to sleep difficulties reflects the most current and empirically proven treatments. She works with clients to demystify sleep and help them develop skills to fall asleep and stay asleep. Studies have shown CBT-I to be more effective than sleeping pills. CBT-I addresses all types of insomnia, and can be used in combination with sleeping pills as clients decrease their dependence on sleep medication.
