Leon Tackitt, co-owner and winemaker at Tackitt Family Vineyards, spent 28 years serving as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal Technician in the U.S. Navy. He discovered the key ingredient for success are commitment and dedication. We at Tackitt Family Vineyards have taken that recipe for success and bottled for all of you to enjoy.  

This Petite Sirah features flavors of concentrated warm black pepper, blackberry, and plum and seamless mouthfeel and soft grainy tannins. A gentle core of acidity lifts the fruit flavors well into the finish. It pairs well with pork, Italian foods with red sauce or BBQ. Enjoy!

Bidder must be at least 21 years old. Please note, this is a fundraiser so there are no refunds and Templeton Education Foundation is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping and/or mailing. Winners are automatically contacted at the close of auction and your credit card will be processed within 48 hours. Please make sure in advance your credit card information is current and on file with Bidding for Good. Templeton Education Foundation reserves the right to reassign your item to the next highest bidder if payment is not made or pick up arrangement is not made within two weeks of close auction. 

Free delivery to North SLO County winners. Gift Certificates will be sent via certified mail. Bidder is responsible for shipping and handling fees and any additional insurance, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Note that wine shipping laws vary widely from state to state (e.g. shipping to Utah is prohibited).
