About:

Since 2001, Riverstar Vineyards has been a fixture at the beginning of San Miguel’s Pleasant Valley Wine Trail. In 1993, Riverstar Vineyards was planted with three varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, all planted on their own root in the loamy sand and gravel soils along the southern facing slopes of the Estrella River. In addition to the original varietals planted, we grow Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel, both planted on their own root, as well as Petite Sirah that was grafted onto some of the Syrah in 2014. Family owned and operated, the tradition continues as the second family takes ownership in 2016. Riverstar is careful to carry on the tradition of great red, white, and blended varietal wines that are big, bold, and beautifully crafted from the Central Coast’s incredible fruit. This vineyard has been producing delicious fruit for over 3o years! We are working with winemaker Steve Martell to focus on growing the best fruit possible and making the wine in a way which respects the fruit and creates rich, full bodied reds and crisp, clean whites. The Reinertson family looks forward to sharing their wines with each visitor as they build on traditions and add their own family values and love for wine. Please come out and enjoy a day of wine tasting (or make it a weekend!) and delightful Central Coast weather on our beautiful vineyard. Join us as Riverstar Vineyards develops into the dream we envision!
