Item Description
Winner will receive a Child/Parent Play Session with Child Therapy Chicago.
Learn how to make the most of your children's play to give them a developmental advantage, strengthen your relationship, tame tantrums, and avoid aggressive behavior.
Play is children's most important work. This is the secret to their development. Through play, children learn how to move, think, manage their emotions and behaviors, and relate to others. Many parents are unsure of exactly HOW to play with their children.
This personalized 75 minute child/parent play session consists of:
- One 15 minute phone consultation to talk about your child's development and any concerns you may have.
- One 60 minute guided play session with a trained child therapist who specializes in play and development. Not only will you learn about why children play and the real meaning behind it, the therapist will show you exactly what to look for in your child's play and demonstrate how to most effectively, purposefully, and enjoyably play with your child to give them an edge in their development, even with limited amounts of time.
It's a fun and productive time and valuable for anyone with children from infancy to age 8.
Child Therapy Chicago is located at 1300 W. Belmont Ave.
BONUS - You'll also get expert recommendations for great toys and other play activities as well as references for our favorite parenting books and other developmental resources.
