Item Description
Join our Director, Mike Opgenorth, on a Guided Tour of Kahanu Garden. We will begin at the Visitor Center and lead you through the ulu (breadfruit) collection, home to the largest variety of breadfruit cultivars in the world. From there we will show you the canoe garden; take your time to experience the relationship these different plants had with the people that carried them across the pacific. Piilanihale Heiau will greet you next, allowing us to share the knowledge we have of this very sacred site in the shade of Hale Hookipa (Hawaiian thatched house). Move on to enjoy breathtaking views of the Hana Coastline from the shade of the largest hala (Pandanus) grove in the state.
This tour is approximately 2 hours. *ALL GUESTS MUST BE VACCINATED
