Note from the Artist: With my work, I aim to initiate a refreshing experience that stimulates contemplation and escapism in the viewer. At a glance, depictions of environments are inviting and free to inhabit, but upon closer observation, a glimpse of a perilous state may become apparent. Ultimately, a viewer may find that my work comments on current social and environmental issues while revealing how I see the world around me – interconnected and constantly shifting between the familiar and unfamiliar.
