Item Description
Artist Statement
My collage paintings are created from selected materials, i.e. paper, sometimes torn, and the detritus of nature: shells, pods, bark, branches. They are affixed to foamboard supports and painted with acrylic. They are about the process as well as imagery.
The content of the artworks always refers to nature in the depiction of florals and tidepools and, ultimately, it’s fragile and ever-changing beauty.
I am a California artist, and occasionally the imagery suggests places.
