A Learning Behavior Specialist from the Chicago Home Tutor team will complete an executive functioning assessment called the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Functioning, Second Edition (BRIEF-2) to help you understand your child's specific areas of potential need with regards to executive functioning.
The BRIEF-2 includes an assessment of three different domains of executive functioning (cognitive, behavioral, and emotional regulation) in several different areas like Self-Monitoring, Emotional Control, Working Memory, and Planning/Organizing.
Upon completion of the assessment, the learning specialist will provide an interpretive report with recommendations to support your child's executive functioning skills.
