Paramecium, amoebas, and ciliates, oh my! Calling all aspiring microbiologists! The water in the Harlem Meer is teeming with microscopic life. Join Ms. Macaulay and Ms. Dana for a lunchtime walk to collect water samples from the Harlem Meer located in Central Park. Learn how to make wet-mount slides and use the compound microscopes to identify pond water microorganisms. Up to 8 students. When: 2 consecutive lunchtimes in May or June (M-F, 12-1pm) Where: Rm 129. Students should bring their lunch to school on these days so they can eat in the science room!
