Item Description
Joint grade project. "Wild Bunch". Coffee filters on linen canvas. Shadow Box (24 x 36 x 3). Bouquet of flowers made out of hand dyed coffee filters; framed.
This colorful bouquet is made by 4th grade children using coffee filters and food coloring.
The children dyed the filters with the colors they created with the food coloring, and after the filters dried, they each created their own wildflowers.
We put together these individually unique flowers and they became a bouquet of wildflowers.
As many wildflowers represent strength and perseverance in the face of adversity, this wild bunch will keep on believing, keep on persisting and keep on going.
"No matter what conditions look like around you—keep on believing, keep on persisting—keep on going—keep on growing. Just like wildflowers grow wherever they choose, no matter the conditions—be and be becoming all that you were created to be and become.” - Sandra C Bibb.
