Artist Statement:
Have you ever heard a whale sing? I first heard it while listening to a meditation tape! It was fascinating! A unique song, composed of squeaks, clicks and moans. I wanted to capture the beauty of the melody with my interpretation of frequency waves and movement. So grateful to share my art with you.
Artist Biography:
My fascination with ancient and modern mosaics drew me to the arts over twenty years ago. I have created works as large as 50 feet long and as small as micro jewelry. Recently, I've developed a yearning for more fluidity and movement in my art, Abstract expressionism. My next big challenge is to combine all my fav's- Print making, gold leaf, tile, glass with acrylic paint. I have my dream studio located at 18 Doaks Lane, Marblehead- whom I share with 10 other artists - includes the largest printing press I've ever seen!
