About artist Sasha Hallock:
With an Iranian father and American mother, Hallock’s work combine geometric and sculptural forms, vibrant colors and odd textures. Each painting is the result of meticulous building, one line, shape, and color in relationship to the next. Hallock utilizes a unique abstract language to express themes of play, joy and faith.
A graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a concentration in painting and drawing, Hallock has participated in group shows in New York City, Hudson, NY, Kansas City, and Fort Collins, Colorado. His work is held in private collections in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, London, Tokyo, and Tehran.
