Located in the heart of the Presidio by the Golden Gate Bridge, Movement San Francisco boasts not just amazing climbing and bouldering terrain, but fantastic views across Crissy Field. With 25,000 square feet of climbing, a full fitness and cardio area, two yoga studios, and top-out bouldering, Movement San Francisco combines the best of climbing, yoga, and fitness.
- What is the Introduction Class? The one-hour class teaches you (a person 13 years of age or older) to manage the ropes for a climber on our taller walls (called belaying).
- What's Included? The lesson includes gear rental (shows and harness) and a one-day pass per person. At the end of the class, students will receive a temporary belay card so they can continue to climb and belay for the rest of the day.
- What do I do if my child is under the age of 13? While kids under the age of 13 cannot belay, parents can manage the ropes for their children with an Intro to Rope Climbing lesson which will include one lesson for an adult (13 or older) to learn to belay, one kid's pass for a child (12 or younger) to climb after the lesson, a harness for the adult, and a harness and shoe rental for the child. Each additional child that would like to climb can with the purchase of a kid's day pass.
