Item Description

One hour private training that is designed based on each dancer’s unique body, movement patterns, injuries, and personal goals to compliment your current training or performance repertoire. Develop specific skills/technique and create muscular balance enhancing movement and execution.

NYCDA Faculty, Rachel Kreiling, calls upon her keen eye and vast background/education in kinesiology, biomechanics, neuroscience, pilates, physical therapy, strength & conditioning, corrective exercise, and athletic training to guide each dancer towards optimal technique and movement abilities, while nurturing their individual strengths. Each session will give the dancer their own personal set of tools and awareness to apply in their regular weekly curriculums.

Rachel is a member of Alison Chase/Performance (Led by co-founder of Pilobolus & Momix). Performing around the world at 18, she was a featured adage dancer at Tokyo Disney and continued to perform throughout Europe as an adage partner and aerialist on Silver Seas Cruises. Other favorite credits include: Rasta Thomas’ ROCK The Ballet (Principal Dancer), Revolution (Dance Captain-Joyce Theater & US Tour), Bryn Cohn & Co., Bad Boys of Dance, Glico international commercial, and industrials with New York Theatrical Events.  She  serves on the NYCDA and Onstage New York Faculty, and guest teaches workshops and choreographs across the US and abroad. As a Certified Pilates Trainer and in pursuit of a degree in Kinesiology & Neuroscience, she is currently producing a cross-training program designed specifically for dancers, which focuses on proper technique development, performance enhancement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
