Chef Ripert was born in France and began his culinary career at the age of 14. He
worked at some of the most prestigious restaurants in France, including La Tour
d'Argent and Jamin. Ripert moved to New York City in 1991 to become the chef of Le Bernardin. He has since helped to make the restaurant one of the most famous and successful in the world. He is also a successful author and television personality. He has written several cookbooks and has hosted his own cooking show on the Food Network.
