Item Description
Honoring thousands of years of artistic tradition in Japan and China, the lightweight Japanese version of a shogi screen is created on rice paper or silk. The botanical themes and earth tones are masterfully painted to bring serenity and peace to the room and viewer. An elegant, simple frame allows the eye to focus on the delicate and beautiful scene conveyed by the artist.
Valuing attention to detail and the fullness of the creation, the back of the screen is also uniquely patterned.
This exquisite example is 35" long x 17" tall.
