Online bidding for this item CLOSES WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST, AT 5PM. Final bidding will take place in-person during the LIVE AUCTION event on Saturday, November 4th. If you're unable to attend the live auction, you can leave a "high bid" amount online (no later than November 1st, 5pm EST) and the auctioneer will represent your bid during the live event.

Marek Cecula is a world-renowned artist, ceramicist, educator and curator. After a move to NYC in 1976, he set up Modus Design Studio and the Contemporary Porcelain Gallery. From 1985-2004 he was Head of the Ceramics Department at Parsons School of Design in NYC and from 2004-2010 he was Visiting Professor at the National Academy of the Arts in Bergen. In 2012 he opened Design Centrum Kielce and later the Ćmielów Design Studio. Currently he is a Visiting Professor at the Royal College of Art, London. Beautiful contemporary design porcelain notched rice bowls in off white porcelain with a dark blue rim detail.

 The Bidding Increments are as follows:

   $1-99, the bidding increment is $5

   $100-199, the bidding increment is $10

   $200-499, the bidding increment is $20

   $500-999, the bidding increment is $50

   $1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100

 

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 8th – 11th, 2023. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
