Online bidding for this item CLOSES WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST, AT 5PM. Final bidding will take place in-person during the LIVE AUCTION event on Saturday, November 4th. If you're unable to attend the live auction, you can leave a "high bid" amount online (no later than November 1st, 5pm EST) and the auctioneer will represent your bid during the live event.
The Attleboro Arts Museum is auctioning off a “mystery artwork” donated by a highly acclaimed artist. This mystery piece will be revealed when the gavel falls during Saturday, November 4th’s live auction and the lot is awarded to the highest bidder. The lot is a wonderful example of the artist’s skill, as well as their mastery of color, form and ability to create unique textured surfaces.
The only details that can be shared at this time are:
• Medium: Blown glass
• Size: 9” high x 14” wide x 5” deep
• Color palette of artwork: A range of luscious blues, soft white, sparks of teal - with translucent sections
• Subject: A natural form
The artist:
This artist enjoys working with the fluid and translucent qualities of glass and is considered an expert with color applications in their medium. They have been known to achieve outstanding variations in intensity of hue, tone and depth of pigment.
The artist takes pride in developing unique works, creating sought-after works in glass for nearly 30 years. Their pieces are highly styled and full of personality.

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.
The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 8th – 11th, 2023. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
