Online bidding for this item CLOSES WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST, AT 5PM. Final bidding will take place in-person during the LIVE AUCTION event on Saturday, November 4th. If you're unable to attend the live auction, you can leave a "high bid" amount online (no later than November 1st, 5pm EST) and the auctioneer will represent your bid during the live event.

Sue Butler holds a BS in Speech/English from Emerson College, and an Art Certificate from Bristol Community College. Sue has taken various workshops and belonged to several art organizations in her long career. She now lives in Florida most of the year, continuing to paint and attend workshops.

Portraits of women are an ongoing subject for Sue Butler, reflecting on her past. She was a speech therapist, and a make-up artist. Many of her subjects are people she knows, or are from glimpses of memory.

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.

 The Bidding Increments are as follows:

   $1-99, the bidding increment is $5

   $100-199, the bidding increment is $10

   $200-499, the bidding increment is $20

   $500-999, the bidding increment is $50

   $1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100

 

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 8th – 11th, 2023. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
