Item Description
Photography
18" x 22" x 1"
William Gibson switched his artistic endeavors in retirement from painting to drone-based still photography. He was chosen as one of eight juried member artists to participate in the AAMs 2019 8 Visions exhibit. His photos have been used to promote art shows, been on display in Congressional offices in D.C., and chosen as calendar photos and covers. He holds a B.A. in Art from Brown University and is a published cartoonist.
This photograph was taken remotely via a drone while it hovered over an old rusty bridge on the Taunton River. The photographer waited for a boat to appear to complete the scene.
