Caitlyn Marsh received a BFA in ceramics at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2006. After graduating she began a long career managing non-profit ceramics studios, and currently is the Ceramics Program Director at Mother Brook Arts and Community Center in Dedham, MA. The Society of Arts + Crafts awarded her the Craft Innovation Seed Grant in 2022. In 2021 she received a Materials Needs Grant from ArtsWorcester. Caitlyn has exhibited art across the country from New York to Washington.
Marsh's ceramic sculptures are hand-built from extruded white stoneware. Clay is extruded through various hollow dies and assembling when leather hard. The surface is decorated using cobalt-free mason stain and glaze resist. Pieces are fired oxidation cone 6 in the artist's home studio in Worcester, MA.
The artist has graciously agreed to start the bidding at $300.

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 8th – 11th, 2023. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
