"Darrows Words W15" explores the language of paint and composition by painting the word word over and over to create an underlying structure and meditation. I reference calligraphy artists and Mark Tobey in the limited palette made of colors that could create black and white. The ambition of these works is to prove that the language of paint can be just as potent as the language of words.
