Item Description
Photomontage
22" x 18" x 1"
Anne Diamond McNevin has participated in a Griffin Museum of photography atelier, a workshop with Freeman Patterson and Andre Gallant in Montreal, and photography workshops in Oaxaca Mexico with Marie Seder and Humberto Batista. Recently her work has been shown at the AAM, Danforth Museum and ArtsWorcester. This year she received an honorable mention from the Julia Margaret Cameron awards, for which her photos were shown in the Photo Nostrum Gallery in Barcelona.
"Down the Drain" was created in 2019. It is part of an ongoing series reflecting interiors rather than exteriors. The artist primarily photographs people and over the years found what people think and feel is equally if not more compelling. This is a photomontage that expresses her reaction to a life event.
