Item Description
Acrylic

While Katherine Honey's formal training in the arts is limited, painting, photography, and crafts have been a mainstay in her life. In her youth, she embraced oils and dabbled in photography. Later in life, she moved from the forgiving nature of oils and acrylics to the challenge of watercolors. Katherine is a member of the AAM and the Shovel Town Gallery in Easton, MA. The sharing of photographs of landscapes by friends and colleagues often provides the artist with perfect inspiration for a painting.
This painting was inspired by a photograph taken by a colleague who captured the view from her new abode in Lakeville, MA.
