14.5" x 17.5" x 1" Barbara Canning is a Warwick, RI based artist. She is an alumna of RISD with a Certificate in Drawing and Painting. Her work is primarily created in oil and collage. The richness of color and texture are what make these mediums so desirable to the artist. Barbara belongs to several art associations and painting groups. Her work has been in juried, regional and national art exhibits and has been the recipient of many awards.

"Marginal Way" is a cliff walk in Ogunquit, ME. The view in this painting is from Perkins Cove and captures a spot where the rough Atlantic Ocean lets go of some energy and dances on the rocks lining its edge.
