Andrea Warner is a member of the AAM, the RI Watercolor Society, the Wickford Art Association, and the MGNE. She has shown her work with these and other New England organizations. In 2012, after working primarily in watercolor and acrylic, Andrea started taking the AAM's monotype classes with Paula DeSimone and still enjoys this fascinating and challenging medium.
"Milkweed and Garlic Scapes #2" is part of series of monotypes created during the pandemic. Andrea had used garlic scapes and milkweed individually. During the summer of 2020, she created a series of 3 monotypes using both organics in each print.
