David Volkin is a post-impressionist artist and landscape photographer. He studied at the Syracuse University Newhouse School in 1992. He began landscape oil painting in 1989 eventually moving into textured abstraction and then impressionist art in both acrylics and oil. Previous exhibition locations and publications include Syracuse Art Museum, Onondagan, the AAM, Outsider Collective, Pawtucket Arts Collaborative, and Boldbrush Art Contest & Exhibit.

"Sail Newport" is a scene looking out from Goat Island blending both traditional post-impressionist techniques with the sailboats being done in a blended painterly style to create a unique seascape.

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.

 The Bidding Increments are as follows:

   $1-99, the bidding increment is $5

   $100-199, the bidding increment is $10

   $200-499, the bidding increment is $20

   $500-999, the bidding increment is $50

   $1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100

 

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 8th – 11th, 2023. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
