Item Description
Mixed media
21" x 15.5" x 1"
Rosemarie Manson is a member of the RI Watercolor Society, the AAM, and the East Greenwich Art Club, and has exhibited her work with those groups. As part of her artistic development, she has been experimenting with different types of water media, and a variety of papers and surfaces. In addition, she has been working in collage, and printing monotypes using a Gelli plate.
In "Sleep Well Little Puppy" the artist describes the painting process as the lines told her what the image wanted to be. Its important to Rosemarie that the painting develops over time, she usually doesn't have a preconceived image in mind. She loves to make realistic images, such as portraits and landscapes.
