Item Description
Assemblage sculpture
26" x 23" x 15"
Jo Owens Murray began her career as a photographer and is a graduate of Rosemont College. Her assemblage sculptures employ beads and jewels to address human emotions and the issues facing women today. Four of her sculptures are in the permanent collections of art museums in Pennsylvania. Jo and her husband are now full time RVers touring and photographing America.
"Winged Beauty" is a contemporary example of surrealism. This assemblage sculpture addresses human emotions and issues concerning women in today's society. Using beads, jewels and other found objects, Jo creates sculptures that are open to interpretation - letting the viewer draw their own conclusions.
The donor has graciously agreed to start the bidding at $200.
