About the Artist
Ronald Bayens is a highly acclaimed portrait artist who is represented by two prestigious agencies, Portraits Inc. and Portrait Associates. He has been painting professionally for 25 years and his work hangs in public and private collections throughout America, Canada, and Europe.Ronald was born in Toronto, Canada, in 1965 and discovered his passion for painting during his Junior High School years. He continued his education at the Ontario College of Art and Design, where he won many awards and was chosen to apprentice with Michael John Angel, a classical painter and renowned art teacher who is now the director of the Angel Academy in Florence, Italy. With hundreds of satisfied clients, Ronald quickly became one of the leading portrait artists in the country. His portraits and fine art are highly sought-after and can be found in leading universities, museums, hospitals, and private homes. With both Portraits Inc. and Portrait Associates representing him, Ronald's reputation as an exceptional and accomplished artist is well-established.
Ronald loves painting commissioned works in his studio, which is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of East Tennessee where he lives with his wife Beth. His works are known for their meticulous attention to detail and stunning lifelike quality, capturing the essence of his subjects perfectly.
