Item Description
This Whaleback Lighthouse is located in Kittery at the mouth of the Piscataqua River, only 1,500 feet from the Maine-New Hampshire border. It is only accessible by boat but can be viewed from Fort Foster in Kittery, Maine. Due to the location of Whaleback, it has been rebuilt several times since its original establishment and remains particularly vulnerable in its open location
