Il Posto Trattoria is a quaint restaurant located at the north end of the city, in the beautiful Napa Valley. We specialize in traditional Italian cuisine with ingredients from Italy and locally grown.

Il Posto provides a warm, comfortable and non pretentious atmosphere with a variety of food options for all ages alike. Walking into Il Posto is like walking into a Trattoria in Rome or Venice, yet it is here in the Incredible Napa Valley! Our menu includes a variety of salads and house made pastas, in both small and large portions. We serve rustic pizzas and classic Italian dishes like Chicken Picatta, Ravioli and Veal Saltimboca. Our Story
As far back as I can remember, family, food and wine have been a meaningful part of my life.  I love to reminisce about the family meals we shared together.  The massive platters of food, bottles of wine that glistened the dinner table, the laughing, the singing, the crying and the dancing are all memories that I will carry  with me.

Since I was twelve years old, I dreamed of having a restaurant to share with my friends and family.  Today I invite you with open arms to my home.  I can only hope you will create the same memories that I live with every day of my life.  I share with you my family recipes that have been passed down four generations.  I share with you the aromas I grew up smelling as a child.  Most of all, I share with you the love and happiness my family has to offer.  Enjoy the food, indulge in the wine and most importantly, appreciate the person(s) with whom you are eating.  I dedicate this restaurant to my wife Dee Ann and daughter’s Gianna & Isabella, whom have showed me the meaning of life.

Pine Ridge Vineyards 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, Stags Leap District, Napa Valley - 1 Bottle

On first inspection, delightful notes of blonde roast coffee and cracked black pepper blend harmoniously with cherry cola and spiced blueberry jam. The wine’s texture is round, with classic Stags Leap District tannins surrounded by mouth-filling pomegranate juice and raspberry mocha flavors. These savory and sweet notes complement a generous serving of Gorgonzola Dolce on a crusty Pain au Levain boule. The wine’s fine grain tannins, balanced by refreshing acidity, create a lush and velvety back palate that brings forth black raspberry and toasted oak hints before gently fading away on the long finish.

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 8, 2024, will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.

Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 6, 2024, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 5 if you plan to pick up your auction winnings.
