  • "Cheddar Lovers Gift Set" by Fromagination: This gift set includes four excellent Wisconsin artisan Cheddar cheeses, all from Hook’s Cheese Company, of varying ages. It also includes Fromagination’s signature Cranberry Relish, Wisconsin Rye Crackers, dried Wisconsin cranberries, and dried fruit slices. Here are the cheese profiles:
    • Pleasant Ridge Reserve from Dodgeville, Wisconsin. It is the most awarded cheese in the US. It’s won the world cheese championship twice. It’s based off a French Comte, so it’s more mild and buttery.
    • Red Rock from Shullsburg, Wisconsin. A cheddar/blue combo - an American-style orange cheddar with blue veining, so it’s buttery but also bitter.
    • Cave-Aged Bandaged Cheddar from Bleu Mont Dairy in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. The producer ages the cheese in a cloth bandage in a cave so it gets earthy and caramelly.
