Item Description

Citizen Kane, the classic 1940 Orson Welles biographical journalism drama starring Orson Welles, Joseph Cotton, Dorothy Comingore, Everett Sloane, Ray Collins, George Coulouris, Agnes Moorehead, Paul Stewart and Ruth Warrick.

DESCRIPTION: This is a group of 8 production stills each measuring 8x10 in a variety of scenes. 7 stills have RKO Radio Picture and National Screen Service info and tags. One still has a snipe on the back and was used to promote the PBS tv series The American Experience for the episode titled The Battle Over Citizen Kane . SEE IMAGES

NOTE: Notice the National Screen Service numbers on the stills. The numbers are from the first year NSS started distributing other accessories (1940 before that they distributed trailers). The numbers are the experimental numbers only used the first year and a half where they also tried to include the MONTH (the 40 12 indicated December)

NOTE: while these stills are very high quality and clean, the paper is NOT 1940s stills paper.
