Item Description
This basket celebrates the hard work (and practical life skills!) of farmers and ranchers in our area and even within the MSM community. The winner will receive 35 lbs of ranch-raised, non-hormone, grassfed and grain finished steaks and hamburger delivered right to your door from Thompson Ranch owned and operated by the family of an MSM primary student. Also included is an 8-week organic CSA delivery (greens, herbs, microgreens, root vegetables) from Area2Farms, an innovative vertical farming outfit in Arlington. Pop over to the Westover Farmers Market to meet the owners of Faerie Springs Farm and pick up gourmet goat cheeses waiting for you. We’ve packed a Scout cooler bag full of local honey, jams, dried apples, and other farmers market delicacies to tide you over in the meantime. A John Boos cutting board and Thermapen ONE cooking thermometer will elevate your cooking experience as you enjoy all this basket has to offer.
