The work is referencing my love for philosophy and the many quirky nursery rhymes I have read to my daughter and more recently my grandson. I have found a middle ground to explore in this work

L’œuvre fait référence à ma passion pour la philosophie et l’excentricité des nombreuses comptines pour enfants que j’ai lue à ma fille et, plus récemment, à mon petit-fils. C’est la congruence des deux que j’explore ici.
Item Special Note
Tim desClouds is an Ottawa-based artist, born in Montreal and raised in Ottawa. He has been an educator, and arts advocate for well over 40 years. He has served on both the Ottawa Art Gallery, Gallery Saw, and SPAO Board of Directors. Tim has recently retired from a 30 year teaching career at Canterbury High School Regional Programme for the Arts within the district of the Ottawa – Carleton Board of Education. Tim’s artwork is represented by Galerie St Laurent plus Hill in Ottawa. He has created numerous public art works throughout Ontario and Quebec, and his work has been acquired for numerous corporate, private and government collections throughout North America.
Tim desClouds est un artiste basé à Ottawa, né à Montréal et qui a grandi à Ottawa. Il est éducateur et défenseur des arts depuis plus de 40 ans. Il a siégé au conseil d'administration de la Galerie d'art d'Ottawa, de la Galerie SAW et de SPAO. Tim a récemment pris sa retraite après 30 ans d’enseignement à l'école secondaire Canterbury, dans le cadre du Programme for the Arts du Ottawa Carleton Board of Education. Les œuvres de Tim sont représentées par la Galerie St-Laurent + Hill (Ottawa). Il a créé de nombreuses commandes d'art public en Ontario et au Québec, et ses œuvres font partie de nombreuses collections d'entreprises, de particuliers et de gouvernements partout en Amérique du Nord.
