Item Description

BACA 2021 Zinfandel - released in 2022

Planted over 100 years ago, Pacini vineyard is perched on the wild slopes
of Mayacamas Mountain Range majestically overlooking Ukiah to the west.
With great care and vision the site is being rehabilitated in concert with the
natural habitat by employing true dry-farming, sustainable practices, and
sheep as natural (and very cute) mowers. The wine made from these
centenarian vines presents a powerful yet elegant side of Zinfandel.

Armida Gap's Crown Vineyard 2017 Chardonnay

Gap’s Crown is ideally situated in the Petaluma Gap, one of the most unique microclimates in Sonoma County. The cool climate locks in the acidity and structure that carry this wine. The Chardonnay expresses its unique location and keeps true
true to the site with minimal oak and malolactic influenceson the flavors. A racey, high acid, lower alcohol, Chardonnay that strays away fromthe “classic” California Chardonnay. Lemon cheesecake, floral, and spiced apple cider aromas escape from the glass at the first swirl. Higher tones of tropical fruit and citrus rindsbecome prominent as the wine opens up. The wine is bright and refreshing on the entry, but the lush texture and minerality on the finish is the hallmark of this wine. Apricot and blood orange flavors give way to a crisp, clean finish of pear and toasted pine nuts.
