Item Description

Have you ever dreamed of having your own estate on Biscayne Bay? This is a rare opportunity to stay at The Kampong for a week's "staycation" for up to 8!

Follow in the footsteps of famed plant explorer David Fairchild who once called The Kampong's nine acres home and discover your own relationship with tropical plants in this beautiful garden while you relax, unwind, and escape to this private oasis in Coconut Grove, Florida.

In addition: Optional VIP Tours of local botanical gardens, The Kampong, the International Center for Tropical Botany at The Kampong (ICTB), and a private tour for 2 of Miami focused on art, architecture and history, led by NTBG Trustee Dr. Michael Rosenberg.


*Two separate fully equipped cottages ( with flexible accommodations combined, fitting up to 8 people)

*7 nights accommodations.

*Mutually agreed upon week excluding holidays, May, and June

*Maximum 8 guests

*Winner must be 21 years or older

*Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited; any small gathering must comply with house rules regarding noise and guest numbers

*A refundable damage deposit of $500 will be collected upon booking your weekend in addition to the winning bid; deposit returned within 48 hours barring any damages


*Expires August 31, 2025

Item Special Note

All bids are final and there will be no exchange or refunds. Auction winner will be responsible for all shipping costs and processing fee, to be added at the end of auction. Auctions items purchased are subject to Hawaii State General excise tax of 4.712%.

Local pickup can be arranged at our headquarters office in Kalaheo, HI. Items must be picked up in 60 days.
