We are pleased to have Shanti Chimes returning to our auction!

This listing is for a shanti chime with the tune of: Crystalide

Color: YELLOW/ORANGE Marbling

About these chimes:
Each instrument has 8 metal cords of different length, welded with silver into a metal ring.
After assembly in the resonance-tube, the instrument is tuned by hand, in order to refine the interaction of tones andovertones, into a circular almost endless flow.

There are 5 different tunings in correspondance with the 5 seasons ( Feng shui) and the 5 elements.Crystalide, Sunray and Twilight, Blue Moon, with Sufi as the intermediair season notes

ECO-protection
The outside of the resonance-tube has been protected by a layer of Eco varnish. Also the inside is protected by a layer of black paint Green Labelhe wooden parts are stained, and wax coated. When used outside, best is to hang the chimes in a dry place. Sun and rain have often a damaging influence on all objects left outside.

Use
Often our chimes are used for meditation, yoga, healing and well being, education and sound-therapy.

Suspended outside, in the opening of a window or door, under the overhanging roof of a terrace, a slight breeze may create an unsuspected melody that leaves you in quiet wonder.
