Christine Taylor Fearing is a multidisciplinary artist and writer whose work explores Emic Research and Disability Arts as a Disruptive Practice. A Gen X Dyslexic, her feminist and queer work has made groundbreaking contributions to Canadian theater. She holds a SSHRC Doctoral scholarship, specializing in Metaphorical Research Creation, and works with fragments of identity to build pictures through invisible narratives. Christine focuses on intersectional accessibility, trauma recovery, and culture expansion through metaphor and magical realism. She identifies as a Guest on Turtle Island, with Newfoundlander and Hebridean Scot cultural roots.

Image Description: A collaged image featuring a portrait of a fair-skinned woman with large brown eyes and silvery hair. She dangles her purple-lensed glasses, deep red lipstick the color of candy apples, with a sly but warm smile. She wears a black tight sweater, chunky retro clip-on earrings, bangles in mixed metals and rhinestones, and a gold Claddagh Irish wedding ring on her hand, against a pale pink backdrop. Overlaid in the bottom left corner are two manila envelopes, one with a black symbol of an audio device on its front.
