Item Description
This 17" x 34" wallhanging was designed by quilter Mary Jane Lake. The rosemaling focus fabric was created by Amanda at Forest Wood Designs in Queensland, Australia, and purchased from Spoonflower. The entire quilt, with the quilted rosemaling border, was sewn with 100% cotton quilters fabric and wool batting. Mary Jane uses a free motion quilter, which is hand guided, not computerized quilting. Bob Lake, Mary Janes husband, created the chip-carved basswood hanger for the piece. Bob has been carving for 30 years.
