Item Description

Enhancing Quality of Life for Pets and Their People

Cloud Bear Healing Arts studio in Nevada City offers a serene, healing
environment for both pets and humans. Specializing in veterinary
acupuncture, the studio also provides space for qigong healing
treatments, movement and meditation classes, and workshops aimed at
supporting overall well-being.

Veterinary acupuncture is a holistic practice that involves inserting fine
needles into specific points on an animal's body to stimulate healing. It
can be used to treat a variety of conditions such as pain, arthritis,
digestive issues, and stress, promoting overall wellness and improving
the quality of life for pets.

This service is offered by Dr. Mimi Vishoot, a graduate of the Business
Ignitor Course, where she started Cloud Bear Healing Arts. Dr. Vishoot
practiced small animal veterinary medicine for 26 years, including 21
years in Western Nevada County. She owned Pleasant Valley
Veterinary Center in Penn Valley for 13 of those years. After a fulfilling
career in traditional veterinary medicine, Dr. Vishoot transitioned to a
calmer, more holistic approach to caring for pets in her community.
