Item Description

Digital illustration (signed original)

11" x 14" x 0.5"

Sambodia is a neurodivergent, mixed-race visual artist/writer from RI. Her illustrations of "fembots," aim to connect our natural and digital worlds, presenting a colorful alternative to the often bleak, apocalyptic depiction of the future. She describes her style of artwork as "web-veau pop," a combination of the World Wide Web, Art Nouveau, and Pop Art.

"Zahavi is to Be Wed" is the 63rd piece in Sambodia's "Lost in the WWWeb" series. An accompanying short story can be found on her Instagram @_sambodia_.
