Item Description

Acrylic

18" x 18" x 1.5"

Eddie Bruckner's artwork has been exhibited at galleries on Newbury St., Boston, MA, New York City & nationwide. His artwork has been selected for prestigious juried art shows like Cambridge Art Association's National Prize Show & the CT Academy of Fine Arts Annual Exhibition. He has permanent public art installations in Boston near Fenway Park, along the Rose Kennedy Greenway, and in Natick, MA. Eddie also teaches in-home art lessons.

"Rolling Stones" draws inspiration from the legendary British rock band, The Rolling Stones & their iconic logo - a pair of lips with a lapping tongue. Introduced in 1971, the logo became synonymous with The Rolling Stones, one of the most famous logos in pop music history. Bruckner was inspired by the logo and its symbolism of pop-culture & music over the last half-century, framing it within a new context of black lines and a variety of mosaic patterns.
