Item Description

Photography

17" x 22" x 1"

William Gibson switched his artistic endeavors in retirement from painting to drone-based still photography. He was chosen as one of eight juried member artists to participate in the AAM's 2019 "8 Visions" exhibition. His photos have been used to promote art shows, been on display in Congressional Offices in D.C., and chosen as calendar photos and covers. He holds a BA in Art from Brown University and is a published cartoonist.

"Sunset on the Pier" was taken one evening while the artist was enjoying a beautiful sunset on the gulf coast of Florida. The silhouettes of others with the same goal in mind on the local pier completed the scene for the artist.
