Drew Conrad is a recent 2024 graduate from Alfred University's School of Art and Design. He was awarded a national gold medal for his ceramics portfolio from the 2020 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Drew has recently exhibited at the 2024 "Small Favors" show at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, and his 2024 BFA Exhibition "A Divine Grotto" at Alfred University. Detailed surface texture and reinterpreting the biological thematics of life, Drew enjoys creating otherworldly outlandish creatures.

"Genesis Ovum" is a piece from Drew's recent BFA Exhibition at Alfred University that represents the purity and potential life holds in its early stages. Drew was inspired by reflections on his own life experiences as well as the importance that art had on his personal expression growing up, and paying that "awe of creativity" forward to the next generation through teaching art.
