Item Description

Acrylic

14" x 14" x 1"

Angie Wimmer fell in love with the creative process when she got her first box of big crayons and hasn't stopped making marks since. She studied art and dance at the University of NE, Lincoln where she holds a BFA with an emphasis in painting and textiles. She teaches dance and art at her Blue Moon Studios. She resides in Attleboro, MA with her devoted husband, her many looms, maybe too much art supplies, and another big box of crayons. Quietly contemplating what paths may be in the future.

This beautiful piece is rich in color, light, and texture. After working on a very emotionally heavy project, "Dream a Little Dream" is part of a lighter series. The series included music, movement, light and color to create a vision of play while exploring abstracting portraiture.
