Item Description

Jewelry

16" x 2" x .25"

Grayce Moorehead has a BS in Interior Design and MILS from Syracuse University. Grayce owned Merry Meadow Farm in Wickford, RI and was featured nationally in Better Homes & Gardens. Grayce is fascinated with tapestry. The idea of tapestry is a base in all designs whether it be paper construction, fibers, pen & ink or gardening. In bead weaving, the intention is to combine singular diverse elements so that each flatters the other completing the whole. Stones, glass and metals play together and enhance each other.

"Inextricable Hidden Helper" is a medium length necklace featuring a cabochon of Unakite Jasper with Spider Web Agate, Bronzite, metal and glass beads. The bezel is created layer by layer patiently one bead at a time to enhance the intricacies of the green and peach Unakite. The beneficial effects of Unakite's properties are slow moving but are involved with healing, balance and improving the effects of emotional wounds.
